About Seleqtion x Motzenbäcker
Seleqtion x Motzenbäcker is a collaboration between Danish wine importer Seleqtion and German winery Motzenbäcker from the Palatinate. Together they have created a series of quality canned wines – a modern and sustainable way to enjoy wine. Canned wines are perfect for situations where glass bottles are not practical: festivals, picnics, the beach, camping or just a relaxed evening in the park.
Why canned wine?
Canned wine is not just a trend – it is a smart and sustainable solution. Cans are lighter than glass, easier to transport, cool down faster, and can be reused endlessly. They are perfect for single servings (0.25L = approx. 1 glass of wine), so you don't have to open an entire bottle. And most importantly: the quality is just as good as bottled, when the wine is produced properly.

Weingut Motzenbäcker is located in the Palatinate, one of Germany's warmest and sunniest wine regions. The Motzenbäcker family has been growing wine for generations and is known for their fresh, fruity white wines and elegant red wines. Weissburgunder – Pinot Blanc
Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) is a classic German white grape that produces elegant, medium-bodied wines with fine acidity and subtle fruit. In the Palatinate, Weissburgunder takes on a special character with ripe stone fruit, minerality and a creamy texture. It is a versatile grape that goes well with many different dishes.
Flavor profile
The wine presents itself with a light golden color. The nose offers aromas of ripe pear, yellow apples, peach and a touch of almonds. On the palate the wine is fresh and medium-bodied with a lovely fruitiness and a balanced acidity. The finish is clean and elegant with a light mineral note. Perfect to enjoy straight from the can – well chilled.
