Riesling – the pride of Germany

Riesling is Germany’s most famous grape and produces some of the world’s best white wines. The grape is known for its aromatic intensity, high acidity and ability to express terroir. Riesling can be produced in many styles – from razor-sharp dry to honeyed dessert wine. This Feinherb style is semi-dry with a slight residual sweetness that perfectly balances the acidity.

Feinherb – the perfect balance

Feinherb means "fine semi-dry" in German and refers to a wine style with 18-45 g/l of residual sugar. This gives the wine a light sweetness that is not overwhelming, but balances the Riesling's natural high acidity. The result is a wine with excellent drinkability, suitable for both spicy food and as a refreshing drink on its own.

Flavor profile

The wine presents itself with a light golden color with greenish reflections. The nose is intensely aromatic with aromas of peach, apricot, citrus and a touch of honey. On the palate the wine is fruity and juicy with a nice balance between sweetness and acidity. The tasting notes include ripe stone fruits, lime and a touch of minerality. The finish is clean and refreshing with a light sweetness.
